Out of Office is a flyer for Multi Projects' third anniversary at 3rd Space Honolulu. The title plays with dual meaning: the corporate auto-reply versus the literal act of working outside, in nature.
The design emerged through collaboration with photographer @colelovesdog and lettering artist @shaman_sonar. Hand-drawn yellow and white letterforms layer across a photograph of someone working on a laptop beside a forest stream. Scattered paper confetti disrupts the composition. The typography resists standardization: irregular, organic, improvised rather than refined.
Multi Projects hosts community workshops, pop-up reading rooms, and vendor markets in Honolulu. The collaborative approach reflects their work, building creative infrastructure outside institutional frameworks and making resources accessible through direct exchange.
