Hello! I'm Chloe Lavigne,
a multidisciplinary designer based in Hawaiʻi.
Born in Korea and raised in Vermont, I'm graduating from the University of Hawaiʻi at Manoa with my BFA in Graphic Design this December.
Before college, I traveled solo through Thailand, Cambodia, Mexico, and France. Meeting new people and learning from different perspectives shaped how I approach design and collaboration.
For two and a half years, I've worked as a Graphic Designer at the Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship, rebranding 17+ programs and designing environmental graphics, event collateral, and large-format displays. Through networking there, I've collaborated with teams across diverse disciplines.
My work explores experimental typography, type design, and cultural storytelling. I'm drawn to any opportunity to problem-solve in a creative and innovative way, working across screen printing, photography, videography, collage, and drawing. My work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Tokyo Midtown Children's Day Festival in Japan.
